The day I discovered my blog...

The day I discovered my blog was not really that eventful. So far in my 'non-sabb career' (I don't even get paid) I have started organising self defence classes in halls as well as general ones, contacted marketing to sort out publicity for the classes and a campaign I plan on going and started revamping the Women's Network website (check this out).

To be honest besides have a bunch of meetings and officer training nothing else has really happened.

So far I have done:
  • Started revamping the women's network website(check this out).
  • Booked stalls for the women;s network at the society fair.
  • Started doing something about that pay review I promised.
  • Been in touch with Muay Thai boxing about instructors for self defence classes in halls, as well as general classes.
  • Manage to help fund the self defence classes in halls. They would have normally cost freshers £11.65, with most halls agreeing to pay £6.65 some more, freshers have to pay £5 for a 4 hour intense training session.
  • Set up meetings with marketing. Posters will not happen on their own.

At the moment I can't really think of anything else so I'll go now as I have to go and get ready for work. :)
